Chemistry.......

Chemistry. Chemistry. Chemistry.  In high school, chemistry was one of those classes that all my buddies were in, where we paid attention but didn’t pay attention. Every day there was something to laugh at and some way to get on our teachers nerves. Furthermore I didn’t consider that maybe I should be paying attention because Chemistry is required in my major for college. I did pass the class with a B, but it was one of those things where you work hard when you felt like it and paid attention when felt like it. So certain topic I understood then others I just didn’t care to understand. I see now that not giving my full attention to Chemistry is hurting me now. Chemistry like any other subject is difficult if you don’t know the basics. I would say I know a little bit of this and that, but not enough of this and that. I feel that not paying attention then is why I don’t have a good understanding of dimensional analysis now. I regret not paying attention, yet you live and learn. Thankfully there are tutors that are masters in Chemistry and are free! So surly you know I got myself one of those tutors. Unfortunately I do have my first exam coming up and hope that one day is enough for me to become proficient in dimensional analysis.  This weekend consists of me studying hard for this exam, because I refuse to fail. Boy do I wish that I had paid attention the first time though…………Well there is nothing I can do now but stake my claim that I will pass this exam with an A. Shooting for the stars because if I don’t make it at least I could have a B, which is acceptable.

  1. Uugghh I remember those days. Chemistry is a hard subject for me and I HATED it. I took it in high school and also had to take it last semester. They have many tutoring sessions that are helpful as well. You should try one out if it gets overwhelming.

  2. I may be alone here, but I loved chemistry when I took it. It wasn't easy, but it seems like most the classes with a valid point to make aren't. I was in the advanced chemistry in high school and even filled in for my teacher in his freshman chemistry class when he had to leave school early for a sporting event. If I were to chose one subject as my favorite, that would be it.
